I choose to see the good - because it’s there,

quietly outweighing the rest.

I grew up in York, a small beach town in southern Maine, where it’s easy to fall in love with the ocean. Since then, life has taken me across the country—and back again, a few times. I moved to Springfield, Missouri as a teenager, finished high school at Hebron Academy (where a film photography class sparked a lasting connection in me), and started college in Nova Scotia before following my heart to Hawaii. I’ve also called Southern California home, and easily could be among palm trees forever, but for the past 11 years, I’ve been back in New England— living in the Portsmouth, New Hampshire area.

Over the years, I’ve been shaped by so many people—friends, mentors, fleeting encounters, and those who have walked beside me for seasons or a lifetime. Every person who has been part of my story has left something with me. Those connections, those shared moments, have made me who I am—someone who believes deeply in the beauty of everyday life, and in the power of preserving it through photographs.

I’m someone who is constantly moved by beauty—natural light, an expression, the way animals connect without words, and the consistent goodness in people. I love to travel and to be near the sea. I have far too many plants, and I love to laugh—often and loudly. I find so much joy in spending time with people I love, and I’m always thrilled to meet new people and hear their stories. I believe connection is something we all need and one of life’s greatest gifts.

I have two incredible children whom have taught me so much about life and constantly remind me to slow down and stay present, They’re the reason I see the world the way I do—and the reason I want to keep capturing it.
